About

This site is an evolving record of my work as a student at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. While working as a librarian, first at UC Santa Cruz, and then at Pratt Institute and NYU, I developed an interest in interaction design and new media. My background in information science has fostered an obsession with creating compelling ways to access, organize, and share information. Recently, my work has begun to focus on using electronics to help people engage with the world around them more deeply. You’ll find entries on this site that reflect those interests, but you’ll also find rough sketches, quick prototypes, plans for future projects, goofy forays into programming, and occasional notes on course readings or gallery visits. Please drop me a line if any of my posts have inspired thoughts or questions.
