This week I ran into another problem with my Arduino board. I hooked up the potentiometer according to the lab instructions, and it seemed to work well for the first few seconds:

Soon, however, I received an error message stating that there was too much power flowing through the USB port:

The LED began to flicker, and I got nervous about frying my board, so I unhooked it from the power source.
